About Our Firm
The Rodenburg Law Firm represents collection agencies, commercial forwarders, lending institutions, auto and consumer finance companies, debt buyers, state colleges, health care organizations, and other creditors in credit matters including consumer and commercial collections. We trace our origins to 1976 when now senior partner Clifton Rodenburg set up shop with Bruce Johnson and Roger Gackle with one secretary, an IBM Selectric typewriter, and four telephones. In the 1980s, we were the first law firm in North Dakota to computerize collections and one of the few in the country to have a multi-jurisdictional collection practice. In 1981, Mr. Rodenburg authored the current North Dakota garnishment statutes. In 1993, he was in the first group of fewer than 50 lawyers in the country, and the first lawyer in North Dakota, to become certified in Creditors' Rights Law by the Academy of Commercial and Bankruptcy Law Specialists.
By 2001 our firm was one of the largest 100 consumer collection law firms by volume in the country. We currently cover the states of Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming with 8 lawyers and a support staff of 59 between our Fargo and Bismarck offices. We are affiliated with the state bar associations in those states as well as with the Commercial Law League of America, the American Collectors Association, and the National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys.

Testimonials
I am very impressed with your ability to get money from this guy who had owed me for years. He had left the state, the IRS had attempted a levy on his property, and the firm I had been using was getting nowhere. Yet somehow you were able to get a very favorable settlement and payment of these very substantial claims. Your firm's diligence and professionalism are appreciated.
